CPR/AED/First Aid Class
CPR and First Aid are skills that save lives. Lil’Bug Studio and An Ounce of Prevention are proud to announce a partnership to help provide a community CPR/AED/First Aid training opportunity. Lil’Bug Studio is opening their doors and hosting a CPR/AED/First Aid class, taught by Marlo Holloway on We are also offering an option to take only the CPR/AED portion of the class.
This class represents an opportunity for you to learn how to help a friend, family member, or stranger survive a life-threatening situation. If the unthinkable happened, would you be ready to help? Whether you need CPR certification for your job or simply want the skills to be a prepared parent or community member, this class will provide the education that you need.
Meet the business owners:
Name: Kristi Keithly
Location: 10007 13th Ave SW

Mission: Create a play space that promotes learning through play and allows children and parents to connect with others in the community.
About Kristi: For over 20 years I have been an early childhood educator. Realizing there was a need in the community for a quality indoor play space, I created Lil’Bug Studio in White Center. It’s more than just a play space, we meet the needs of sensory exploration, creativity, large motor skills, fine motor skills, social play, and so much more. In addition, I have been a lifeguard since I was 19 and have worked with children since I was 16. Being current in CPR and First Aid has always been not only a job requirement, but an important part of living in a community.
A note from Kristi: I have lived and worked in the West Seattle community my whole life. I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors and traveling.
“Life is a journey, not a destination.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Mission: We are passionate about training others to feel confident with life-saving skills. Every student leaves our classroom with the ability and confidence to save a life.
About Marlo: I began my career as a paramedic and responded to medical emergencies every day. Empowering parents, who were often panic-stricken in emergency situations, was the reason I started teaching CPR classes in Seattle. For 22 years, I have been a trainer, educator, and practitioner in various emergency departments. I bring experience, humor, and a wealth of information to every class I teach.
A note from Marlo: I am a resident of West Seattle (for over 14 years) and love my neighborhood. Working with and promoting other West Seattle businesses is one of my passions. If you are a like minded business owner like me, and would be interested in partnering for cross promotion, please contact me and let’s have coffee!
