Basis Life Support for Health Care Providers

Course Title: Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers

BLS Health Care Providers CPR training

First and foremost is an essential requirement for the Professional Rescuer working in any area of the medical profession.

For this reason the BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

Course Description: This American Heart Association Course covers CPR, AED (Defibrillator) for adults, children and infants; choking; barrier and bag valve mask instruction included.

Cost: $95 (Per person for a class at our office, of course group pricing is also available)

Certification Card: Issued upon completion and valid for two years. Another option is our new e-cards.

1. Instructor-led course

In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.

• Updated science and education from the new 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC

• Instructor-led, hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency

• Emphasis on high-quality CPR including a team dynamics classroom activity

• Finally, a Video-based course with real world scenarios

100% classroom training means students are with an AHA instructor for their entire learning experience. This course is offered at your place of employment on the other hand you can also take this course at our SODO area office.

Another option is taking your training online, all things considered this is a very popular option.

2.  AHA Blended Learning courses combine the flexibility of online training with in person skills practice and testing.

HeartCode® BLS

Through a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities, this course teaches students BLS knowledge and skills.

Afterward you will schedule a “hands on skills evaluation” to test your skills and receive your certification card.

Accordingly all American Heart Association training both 100% instructor led or blending learning will give you the training you need.

Finally the American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials; do not represent income to the AHA.
