Course Title: Blood Borne Pathogens

Course Description: This course will teach you about the hazards of bloodborne pathogens in the workplace. You will be taught about how to identify major bloodborne diseases and symptoms, how pathogens are transmitted, the basics of exposure prevention, incident response and cleanup. The course reviews epidemiology, sharps management, cleanup of blood spills, proper personal protective equipment to prevent infection, proper disposal and information regarding the Hepatitis B Vaccine form.

A combination of video’s, hands on skills and scenario based learning is used.

Cost: $915 flat rate group fee in one training session.  Or as a complimentary add on with the purchase of a group CPR/AED/First Aid course.

Duration: 1 hour

Certification: Certification of completion issued and valid for one year.
